Plot Synopsis
This half-hour 3D series uses recreations to chronicle supernatural psychic events, as revealed by the case files and investigations of a "documentarian" known only as The Teller. When an abandoned industrial building is cleared for demolition, a locked door is discovered in its basement. The door conceals an archive of strange specimens, recordings, photos and documentary films -- compelling evidence of monstrous creatures and preternatural events. The whereabouts of The Teller remain unknown, but the documentarian's mission was to make the public aware of a frightening world of dark secrets. Each 30-minute episode of DARK SECRETS highlights one case, including: a house which may have killed a man, who is found to have been incinerated and half absorbed into the wall of his residence; a Vietnam vet with no recollection of killing Viet Cong set to ambush his platoon, whose CAT scan reveals a shocking truth -- he is himself and his twin; an eleven-inch claw of an unknown creature, which is found lodged in the dive tank of a SCUBA diver gone missing; an unholy creature, possibly the result of a government experiment gone wrong, which was reported by fleeing villagers in Nicaragua in 1982; a human skeleton of a missing Air Force pilot embedded in stone, which scientists determine to be 70,000 years old; six seniors at a retirement home, who unconsciously create an intricate patterns from playing cards, which could be a mathematical equation to save the world; an unrecorded phenomenon that kills residents of an apartment building in downtown St. Louis in June 1976; and a new technology responsible for reanimating a realtor, who was killed in a car crash in Kingston, Pennsylvania in 2002.
