Plot Synopsis
Mentalist Keith Barry investigates what life would be like if everyday people used his techniques of mass hypnosis, power of suggestion and ability to read body language and a situation. Keith programs a group of people to be spies, implants thoughts into the minds of car salesmen as he tries to buy an automobile, tries to improve the effectiveness of police officers, and injects new life into dating by reading the body language of the opposite sex. Discovery aired a sneak peek of DECEPTION on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at 10pm ET, one day before the official series premiere on Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at 10pm ET.
