Plot Synopsis

THE DECK DOCTOR is a half-hour reality series that follows Jason Russell (aka Dr. Decks) and his crew -- son Calvin, brother Kevin, Phil DeLeon, and Erin Kinzer -- as they renovate and build over-the-top decks around Tacoma, Washington. On Tuesday, May 17, 2016 from 10-11pm ET/PT, DIY Network premiered the show's two pilot episodes, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the first program (10pm), "A Waterfront Party Deck," Jason tackles an outdated waterfront deck on Vashon Island. In the night's second episode (10:30pm), "A Fire Filled Deck for Work and Play," Jason heads to Graham to build a multipurpose deck that can be used for dining and as a home office.
