Plot Synopsis

Deeper Throat chronicles the making of ''Throat: A Cautionary Tale,'' the remake of the 1972 Gerard Damiano classic ''Deep Throat.'' Before the project can move forward Vivid Entertainment owner, Steven Hirsch must first persuade Ray Pistol and Arrow Productions, the Las Vegas-based owners of the porn classic ''Deep Throat,'' to sell him the remake rights. Things don't go smoothly as the Las Vegas guys have their own ideas about how the property should be handled. It's a clash between the old school of X-rated films and the polished, corporate model of porn that Vivid pioneered starting in the '80s and '90s. In the mean time Steven grooms a beautiful actress for hard-core stardom.
