DEFENDING EUROPE is a one-hour documentary series that explores defensive strategies, weapons and structures used across Europe over 2,000 years, shedding light on forgotten histories that shaped modern borders. Six episodes of DEFENDING EUROPE debuted consecutively from 6pm-Midnight ET/PT on National Geographic Channel on Thursday, September 26, 2024. Each installment focuses on a different country, including Finland, Britain, Poland, The Netherlands, France, and Spain.
