Plot Synopsis

Kardea Brown shares down-home, Southern recipes from her South Carolina kitchen. The cook and caterer was born and raised on the sea islands of Charleston, the heart of all Southern cooking, and learned to cook in her grandmother's kitchen. These days, she takes generations of family recipes and makes them her own as she cooks for family and friends at her Sea Island home. In the series opener, "Sunday Supper," Kardea Brown invites her family over for a scrumptiously Southern Sunday supper after a morning spent in church. She's serving up a few of her family's favorites for dinner, including Fried Chicken Po' Boys and her own twist on her grandma's Crab Mac and Cheese. For dessert, Kardea bakes her Aunt TC's famous Lemon Lime Soda Cake.

DELICIOUS MISS BROWN returned for its second season on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at Noon ET/PT on Food Network. She makes Grilled Pork Chops with a homemade Apple and Mango Compote, along with flavorful Cauliflower Rice. For dessert, there are Mini Sweet Potato Pies topped with Toasted Pecans.
