Plot Synopsis

DESERT FLIPPERS is a half-hour reality series that follows Lindsey and Eric Bennett, who turn Palm Springs' outdated properties into hot dream homes -- and make big profits in the process. In the flip game, the markets are volatile and the risks are real, especially in the desert where anything can happen. Behind every wall is a potential problem that can blow the budget and turn a money maker into a money pit. In the series opener, "Squatters and Scorpions," Eric and Lindsey buy a Palm Springs property sight unseen, but once they get inside they see that it's been trashed by squatters and inhabited by scorpions. The only way to make a profit is to gut the home and start fresh, adding extra dollars to their budget. Lindsey is optimistic that they can make the money back by adding a bocce court and making one bedroom into a casita, but the clock is ticking as her due date is fast approaching. Season 2 of DESERT FLIPPERS premiered on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 11pm ET/PT on HGTV. In the season opener, "Uneasy Street," Lindsey and Eric ignore the "location, location, location" credo of real estate and flip a house on a busy road. The dated '90s-style house gets revived as an open-concept, dual-master retreat. Will the stunning remodel be enough to lure in buyers, or will the noisy location drive away potential profit?
On Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT, HGTV premiered the third season of DESERT FLIPPERS. In the season opener, "Attack of the Tree," Lindsey and Eric get more than they bargained for when they buy an abandoned, overgrown home. After peeling away the dirt and grime, they hope to update the design and maximize the house's stunning mountain views. However, many obstacles stand in their way, including a 50-foot tree that's grown into the roof.
