Plot Synopsis

When a young girl disappears near a refugee detention unit, the whole country's attention is drawn to the small village Karkebo. At the detention unit, the self-righteous and incompetent solicitor Tilda realizes that the unknown refugee that she is about to deport is, in reality, a police genius. Tilda, who was recently fired from her job as a prosecutor, suddenly sees her chance to secretly present his thoughts as her own, and in that way regain her self-esteem, dignity, and maybe even her job. The series made its U.S. debut on Monday, November 20, 2023 on Acorn TV, which released all six episodes under the North American title DETECTIVE #24.
