Created and directed by Jeong Jong-yeon, THE DEVIL'S PLAN is a one-hour competition series that features 12 contestants vying for the crown in this game of intelligence and finesse over six nights and seven days. Alliances form, secret games appear -- it's anyone's game. Who will be crowned the ultimate victor? The first four episodes of THE DEVIL'S PLAN dropped on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 on Netflix, followed by five more episodes on October 3 and the final three episodes on October 10.

Season 2 of the series, titles THE DEVIL'S PLAN: DEATH ROOM, debuted on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 on Netflix, which released the first four episodes. Episodes 5-9 drop one week later (May 13) and the final three episodes premiere on Tuesday, May 20. The new season features even more sophisticated strategies and deadlier alliances. Directed by Jeong Jong-yeon, this series gathers 14 players from diverse professional backgrounds for seven intense days of competition to determine the brightest mind -- and the winner of the grand prize of 500 million Won. Among the players, legendary Go master Lee Se-dol stands out, renowned for his strategic skill in high-stakes scenarios. Meanwhile, Seoul National University graduate Jeong Hyun-gyu, known for his exceptional intellect, emerges as a key figure in the unfolding drama.
