Plot Synopsis

Based on Marco Missiroli's 2019 novel, "Fidelta," DEVOTION A STORY OF LOVE AND DESIRE is series about a seemingly happy marriage that begins to dissolve when the husband's faithfulness is called into question, and both spouses become tempted by other desires. The story opens with realtor Margherita falling in love with an apartment she is supposed to be selling; meanwhile, her husband, Carlo, meets with a nervous student about an assignment. Margherita has a difficult time believing Carlo's version of what transpired between him and Sofia in the bathroom. On Monday, February 14, 2022, Netflix released the entire six-episode first season of the series.
