Plot Synopsis

In each 10-minute episode of DIARY OF AN OLD HOME, homeowners offer an intimate look at the original features and modern renovations that make their old home unique. They also share their passion for understanding and preserving their property's distinct history. The first two episodes of DIARY OF AN OLD HOME dropped on Friday, August 26, 2022 on the Magnolia app. In the series opener, "Whimsical Oyster Bay Estate," a couple purchased a neglected Victorian-era estate in Oyster Bay, Long Island in 2018. As they tackle renovations with a whimsical style, they discover the home once belonged to an abolitionist couple, the McCouns, and later, the Roosevelts.

The sophomore season of DIARY OF AN OLD HOME premiered on Friday, April 21, 2023 on the Magnolia app, as the streaming service released three 10-minute episodes of the new season, including: an 1800s Connecticut colonial that gets a revival as a home and creative space; DIY couple The Renovation Husbands, who restore a 1800s Boston Victorian; and an 1800s island home's legacy lives on with generations of family friends. New episodes drop weekly on Fridays.

Season 3 of DIARY OF AN OLD HOME debuted with two new episodes on Friday, October 27, 2023 on the Magnolia app. In the season opener, "Greek Revival," a couple honors its history as they restore their historic Greek Revival. Then, in the second episode, "Italianate Brownstone," a Brooklyn family lovingly restores their 1880s Italianate Brownstone.
