Plot Synopsis

Brothers John and Jimmy DiResta scour New York City -- from the dumpsters of the Lower East Side to flea markets scattered throughout the five boroughs to various antique shops and collectors -- as they look for items they can completely renovate and reinvent to sell for profit. With John's witty sales pitches, Jimmy's gift of artistry and creativity, and the keen eye of John's son Matthew (aka "Rat-Boy"), these three dumpster divers transform garbage into gold: a tattered old kids bicycle into a chain-saw powered; an Evel Knievel inspired bike; a pile of wood into a one-of-a-kind Manhattan skyline bench; and much more. John and Jimmy's father, known as the "Lord of the Fleas," raised the boys as part of the flea market culture, where they learned enough to build a successful family business.
