Plot Synopsis

Disaster restoration expert Steve Frasher, who has spent a lifetime rebuilding houses that the elements have destroyed, helps devastated and displaced families get back on their feet and back into their homes in just seven days. Whether it's helping a family recover from a tornado, earthquake, flood, hurricane or fire, Steve doesn't just rebuild homes, he rebuilds lives. Along with his right-hand men, Kevin Weinstock and Roy Nye, and an army of builders, Steve rebuilds these homes in record time, and makes sure they are bigger and better than they were before. In the first few episodes, Steve and his crew help: The Cameron family of Brownstown, MI, who were left stunned when their home went up in flames after being struck by lightning during a horrific thunderstorm; and Jason and Felicia Dillie from Greensburg, PA, who were devastated after their first home, which they owned for only six weeks, was torn in half by one of the most violent tornadoes of the horrific 2011 tornado season.
