Plot Synopsis

Each weekday, this series films America's best radio teams during their drive-time broadcasts, and it shows the best moments and latest news about pop culture, celebrities and current headlines from each. During its initial trial run during Summer 2011, DISH NATION aired for six weeks on seven Fox Television Stations: New York's WWOR at 6pm; Los Angeles' KTTV at 6:30pm; Washington DC's WTTG at 7pm; Atlanta's WAGA at Midnight; Phoenix's KSAZ at 10:30pm; Detroit's WJBK at Midnight; and Baltimore's WUTB at 6:30pm. When DISH NATION returned with new episodes on Monday, September 10, 2012, the series was cleared in each of the top 90 markets in the United States and that debut episode is considered the Season 1 premiere date. The radio personalities for the official first season (starting September 2012) were: Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill from New York's Hot AC WPLJ-FM; Rickey Smiley from Atlanta's Urban WHTA-FM; Blaine Fowler and Allyson Martinek from Detroit's Hot AC WDVD-FM; DJ Laz and Liliani Gonzalez from the DJ Laz Morning Show on LA96.3 (KXOL), who replaced Felli Fel & Jessi Malay from Los Angeles' KPWR-FM, a hip-hop station; and Dallas' nationally syndicated Kidd Kraddick in the Morning, added for the 2012 season, with Kidd Kraddick, Kellie Rasberry, Jose 'J-Si' Chavez, Jenna Owens and Big Al Mack. In 2013, The Heidi & Frank Show (Los Angeles) replaced the DJ Laz Morning Show and Brooke & Jubal in the Morning (Seattle) took over for Scott Shannon and Todd Pettengill. In June 2014, Porsha (Stewart) Williams replaced Ebony Steele on The Rickey Smiley Morning Show.
