Plot Synopsis

DOCKED OUT is a half-hour reality series that follows marine contractor Jason Varney and his crew from Dock & Deck, as they revitalize docks for family homes while meeting tight budgets and tighter deadlines. Based in Knoxville, TN, Dock & Deck, one of the few contractors in the area to be a licensed Marine Contractor, was founded by Varney in 2008 after he worked in sales and project management for Stonemill Log Homes. On Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 10pm ET/PT, DIY Network premiered the DOCKED OUT's pilot. In this sneak-peek episode, Jason and his team work double time to complete a 2,400 square foot split level entertaining dock, equipped with water slide, kitchen, dining area and double boat slip within a six week deadline.
DOCKED OUT returned for its official series premiere on Monday, May 1, 2017 from 9-10pm ET/PT, as DIY Network debuted back-to-back new episodes. In the series opener (9pm), "Hammock Dock: Play, Eat, Relax," the crew builds a custom dock for a family of three with two slips for their watercraft, room to dine and a surprise pullout hammock. On shore, they build a custom stone fire pit with a seating area perfect for relaxing under the stars. Then, in the night's second new episode (9:30pm), "Floating Dock," the crew runs into river rock during the build and must improvise with a floating dock. The new dock features two stories, an upper-level fire pit and, as an added bonus, it's mobile.
