Plot Synopsis

Created by Ekachai Uekrongtham, DOCTOR CLIMAX is a one-hour dramedy series set in 1970s Thailand, where dermatologist Dr. Nat unexpectedly starts a mass sexual awakening after becoming Doctor Climax, a taboo-defying newspaper columnist. Desperate to rekindle its popularity, a newspaper considers running a raunchy new sex column and brings in a reserved dermatologist to write it. Sales swell as Doctor Climax's column launches, but the team is hounded by their boss -- and the government. Nat finds himself drawn to a fiery co-worker, Linda, the publisher's art department head. Their budding connection threatens to jeopardize not only the doctor's marriage with his perfect wife, Tukta, but also his family's old-money status. And after the paper publishes a scandalous image, Dr. Pornchai steps up his mission to unmask the popular columnist, who is busy exploring his own sexuality.
