Plot Synopsis

DR. PHIL is a syndicated, daytime talk show (check local listings), as Dr. Phil McGraw, who draws on over 30 years of experience in psychology and human functioning, addresses a wide range of issues, like relationships, sex, family, finances, and emotional health. Each one-hour episode typically focuses on a single topic, such as: "Love Scams: Courted by a Catfish"; "Football Star Accused: Did He Do It?"; and "Football Star Accused: The Alleged Victim Speaks Out." Season 12 debuted on Tuesday, September 10, 2013, with an exclusive story about BACHELORETTE star Gia Allemand's suicide, as Dr. Phil gets Gia's mother, Donna, to open up about her daughter. On Tuesday, September 9, 2014, DR. PHIL returned for its thirteenth season. In the Season 13 premiere, Dr. Phil sits down with Gary Giordano to sort through the details about Robyn Gardner's disappearance while they were on vacation together in Aruba in 2011.
