Plot Synopsis

Hosted by Claude Dartois, DON'T HATE THE PLAYER is a reality series that features 13 players, who start from nothing in a makeshift camp and compete in an unpredictable game of strategy to survive for a spot in a luxury villa and a shot at 150,000 euros. The series opens with 13 confused contestants arriving at the camp, where rules are explained, clans are formed, and a captain is elected ahead of a brutal battle of the boxes. After a tense beach standoff, the chosen ones make their way to the villa and plan for their first assembly. Then, a contender is chosen and the duel begins. In a bid to avoid elimination and win a spot at the villa, two players face off in a test of mettle and nerve. DON'T HATE THE PLAYER debuted on Wednesday, April 17, 2024 on Netflix, which released the first four episodes. Two new installments dropped on April 24, with the final episodes debuting on May 1.
