Plot Synopsis
Originally following the Jack Webb Dragnet formula, this reboot starred Ed O'Neill as Joe Friday and Ethan Embry as Frank Smith. In the second season, the title was changed to "L.A. Dragnet" and the focus shifted to a newer, younger group of recruits (watch for a pre-"Desperate Housewives" Eva Longoria amongst them).
