Plot Synopsis

DREAM SESSIONS profiles the success of celebrities with African-American ancestry, using one-on-one interviews on a closed set to illuminate the spark of each achiever's dream, identify their inspiration, and provide tangible advice for aspiring dreamers. Each 30-minute features a different celebrity, including Nick Cannon, Chaka Khan, and Soledad O'Brien. Originally scheduled to debut on Sunday, December 8, 2013, the premiere of DREAM SESSIONS was delayed on short notice by one week so Centric could air special programming about the life of Nelson Mandela, just days after the rights activist and former president of South Africa died.
