Plot Synopsis

DUCK DYNASTY follows the Robertsons, a newly-minted multimillionaire family who run Duck Commander, a Louisiana-based business that has become a sporting empire by fabricating top-of-the-line duck calls and decoys out of salvaged swamp wood. As the Robertsons live the American dream, they operate their thriving business while staying true to their family values and lifestyle. The Robertsons are: Willie, the CEO and resident prankster, who took the company from a living-room operation down by the river to a premiere destination for all things outdoors; Phil, a former football player who started ahead of Terry Bradshaw at LSU, who created the Duck Commander Duck Call in 1973, which has gone on to become the most trusted duck whistle ever conceived; Jase, Willie's polar opposite brother, who would rather be in the swamp but fabricates the duck calls -- and is able to churn out thousands of new calls in a flash; Uncle Si, Phil's brother and best friend, who fashions the reeds that are inserted in every patented duck call; Korie, Willie's wife and business partner, who is the Duck Commander office manager and has helped Willie grow the company into an ever-expanding enterprise; and family matriarch Missy Kay, Phil's wife, who makes sure the whole family is around her dinner table at the end of the day for a home cooked meal. Season 2 opened with each family member taking their turn teaching Willie's teenage kids about life.
