Plot Synopsis

Executive produced by series star Anna Kendrick, DUMMY is a short-form buddy comedy series that centers on aspiring writer Cody and her new BFF Barbara, as they embark on wacky adventures together -- only to discover they have much more in common that Cody ever expected. The series opens with Cody learning that her boyfriend Dan owns a sex doll...who can somehow talk to her. The new duo quickly bond, as sex doll Barbara asks Cody to wash her vagina, leading to a disastrous accident and forcing Cody to take her bestie to be repaired. On Monday, April 20, 2020 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Quibi released the first three episodes. A new installment debuts each weekday thereafter.
