Plot Synopsis

EAT, DRINK, HAGGLE is a half-hour reality series that follows Lara Spencer as she searches for the best-kept secrets of food, cocktails, and flea markets in small towns and big cities across America. According to Spencer, her perfect weekend combines three things: seeing new places, eating delicious food, and finding the best deals on one-of-a-kind items at flea markets. Now, in this series for which she's an executive producer, Spencer creates her own perfect weekends as she travels to a different city in each episode and has a local as her wingman to show her the secret sites, cuisine, and bargains of that town. On Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 2pm ET/PT, Travel Channel premiered the pilot, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Rock 'n' Cleveland," Spencer travels to Cleveland, where the unofficial mayor, lifelong Clevelander Alan Glazen, shows her what makes this Midwestern gem of a town so special. Spencer and Glazen indulge in local delicacies like giant pastrami sandwiches, visit a hidden tiki bar with cocktails that pack a serious punch, and even learn the ancient art of glass-blowing. The 30-minute pilot concludes with a bargain hunt competition in Cleveland's massive downtown flea market.
