Plot Synopsis

Using dramatic re-creations and first-person expert interviews, this two-part special, narrated by Alexander Siddig, chronicles tales of excess wealth and documents the scandalous vices of the ancient Egyptians. Part 1, "The Sins of Egypt," focuses on their vices like kinky sex, drug binges, and reckless spending, highlighting rulers like Ramesses ll & his wife Queen Nefertari, Amenhotep lll and Cleopatra. Part 2, "The Rulers of Egypt," reveals how the pharaohs would do anything to attain power -- a time when murder, incest, seduction, and political backstabbing were all in a day's work. Spike TV premiered EGYPTIAN VICE on Wednesday, July 15, 2015 from 9-11pm ET/PT, showing both episodes back to back.
