Plot Synopsis

ENDURANCE TRAVELER features endurance sporting events at travel destinations, blending food and entertainment with the human experience and the events. Host Dean Warhaft -- an experienced endurance athlete and amateur chef who has raced, eaten, and explored his way around the globe for the past two decades -- now travels the world to cover Ironmans, Marathons, Ocean Swimming, Cycling and Inline skating races. While experiencing these events, Warhaft meets competitors, shares their joys and successes, and witnesses their trials and tribulations. When he's not competing, Warhaft meets world-famous chefs, samples their creations and enjoys the unique recreation and leisure activities each location has to offer, including: white water kayaking in Brazil; strolling through the oldest parts of Zurich; bungee jumping in South Africa; a medieval Castle in Austria; and scuba diving with whale sharks in Georgia.
