Plot Synopsis

EPIC SWEETS is a half-hour reality series that follows Chef Jeff Mahin, as he travels across the United States to meet bakers redefining what makes an epic dessert. On Friday, August 25, 2017 at 10:30pm ET/7:30pm PT, Cooking Channel premiered the show's pilot episode, but the cable channel had no other episodes on its schedule at that time. In the pilot, "Palm Trees & Pastries," Chef Jeff heads to sunny Florida to tackle a 3-foot-tall, maple-bacon donut tower & a 25-pound candy bar cake at Cinotti's Bakery (co-owned by Michelle Cinotti-Vining), a 12-pound breakfast pastry at Alleycakes Bakery (owned by Ali Webb), and an outrageous eclair cake, using white chocolate bread pudding at Amaretti Desserts (owned by Donna Damiano).
