Plot Synopsis

Dr. Basil Singer performs experiments to determine whether humans could potentially live somewhere other than Earth, such as another planet or one of the moons of Saturn or Jupiter. In one episode, Singer examines the physics of advanced rocket propulsion, weightlessness and the biology of extremophile bugs to answer the question: Can humans survive on Callisto (Jupiter's Moon)? Then, in a second program, Singer investigates Saturn's moon, Titan, one of the most Earth-like objects in the solar system. He tests self-healing plastics, heat resistant spacecraft materials and tempts hypothermia all in the name of science.
