Plot Synopsis
For more than a century, the National Geographic Society has expanded our understanding of the world with major expeditions and groundbreaking discoveries. Now, this legacy of exploration is celebrated every year with EXPEDITION WEEK -- a week-long compilation of documentaries that covers a period of time spanning the age of the dinosaurs to the Space Age and a multitude of points (and locations) in between. After premiering in 2008 and airing a second time in 2009, Nat Geo skipped 2010 to show GREAT MIGRATIONS instead, but in 2011, Nat Geo aired two separate editions of EXPEDITION WEEK -- once in April and once in November. Hosted by Piers Gibbon, the November 2011 edition of Nat Geo's EXPEDITION WEEK aired each weeknight from 8-11pm, including eleven one-hour specials and four episodes of the new series THE WITCH DOCTOR WILL YOU SEE YOU NOW.
