Plot Synopsis

Based on Rebecca Serle's book of the same name, FAMOUS IN LOVE is a one-hour series that follows ordinary college student Paige Townsen as she gets her big break after auditioning for the starring role in a Hollywood blockbuster. The series opens with Paige as a normal college girl working on her business degree who enjoys acting on the side. When the next big movie franchise goes into production and opens its doors looking for the next It Girl to play the lead role, Paige's roommates Cassie and Jake convince her to go to the open casting call. Never in her wildest dreams does she think she will even make it to the callbacks, but after an electric audition with Hollywood heartthrob Rainer Devon, her chance of a lifetime happens. She gets the part and her life is about to change forever. Meanwhile, intrigue is flowing through Hollywood as every actor wants a part in the new LOCKED film. She must now navigate her new star-studded life and the highs and lows that come with being the new It Girl in town, as well as balancing her college workload. As her public profile continues to rise and the undeniable chemistry with her new co-star and Hollywood heartthrob Rainer grows, the more her friendships are strained with her two best friends -- particularly Jake who may be more than just her friend. Season 2 of FAMOUS IN LOVE premiered on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 8-10pm ET/PT, as Freeform debuted back-to-back new episodes. Production on LOCKED has been put on hold, and during this time, the cast has worked on other projects, which puts a strain on an already tense set when production resumes. Two months have passed and a lot of changes have happened to the cast of LOCKED. Paige's choice between Rainer and Jake is revealed. Guest starring Romeo Miller, Danielle Campbell, and Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon from THE REAL.
