Plot Synopsis

Based on the Italian cartoon WINX CLUB, FATE: THE WINX SAGA is a one-hour, live-action series that follows the coming-of-age journey of five fairies attending Alfea, a magical boarding school in the Otherworld where they must learn to master their powers while navigating love, rivalries, and the monsters that threaten their very existence. The story opens with Bloom beginning her studies at Alfea so she can master her magic, and she crosses paths with her curious classmates. Meanwhile, a secret comes to light. Netflix released the entire six-episode first season of FATE: THE WINX SAGA on Friday, January 22, 2021 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.

The sophomore season of FATE: THE WINX SAGA debuted on Friday, September 16, 2022, as Netflix released the entire seven-episode new season. School's back in session under the militant authority of Alfea's former Headmistress Rosalind. With the Burned Ones gone, Dowling "disappeared" and Silva imprisoned for treason, the Alfea of last year has grown up with new magic, new romances and new faces. But when fairies start to go missing in the night, Bloom and her Suitemates discover a dangerous threat lurking in the shadows. One they'll have to stop before it wreaks havoc on the entire Otherworld. In the season opener, "Low-Flying Panic Attack," Bloom and her friends, chafing under Rosalind's new regime at Alfea, make a risky plan to free Silva. Aisha meets someone. Sky is still processing.
