Plot Synopsis
FBI: CRIMINAL PURSUIT showcases the heroes behind headline-grabbing FBI cases and the high-tech investigative techniques they used to solve some of the most mystifying cases of the 21st Century. In these cases the FBI must: save Sidney Reso, the head of Exxon International, from his kidnappers; find the shooter at the North Granada Hills Jewish Community Center, which leads to a manhunt from Los Angeles to the state of Washington; solve the case of a young socialite who is shot down in her suburban Atlanta home -- 11 years later; identify the perpetrator responsible for a series of late night assaults in Bloomington, IL; solve the case of three female hikers who go missing in a town with a history of abductions; form a task force to uncover a nest of sexual predators when a young girl vanishes in a small community; discover what causes a series of young women to disappear under mysterious circumstances in Kansas City; stop a predator after two young boys disappear in the small town of Richwoods, Missouri; link the people who stockpile weapons to a series of unsolved crimes; find the person who abducted an 8-year-old girl playing outside her mobile home in Tracy, California. Investigation Discovery presented a marathon of 11 back-to-back episodes on the day the series premiered. Season 4 of this series premiered on Investigation Discovery on Monday, March 18, 2013 at 10pm ET/PT, with the premiere episode featuring the story of Leah Henry, who was saved from the clutches of Gary Dale Cox (aka The I-10 Predator), a sexual sadist who kidnapped and tortured young girls on Interstate 10 and who took his own life after Leah escaped.
