Plot Synopsis

Hitting the streets of a city for one night, night-owl Mikey Roe reveals the hottest food scenes and must-have meals for any pre-dawn menu that makes each town unique, as he searches for each city's best late-night grub spot. Taking in the food, people and nightlife, Roe discovers a dynamic scene and flavor distinct to each city -- from a gourmet hot dog shop with a hidden speakeasy in New York City or a Native American food truck in Seattle, to kimchi fries in Austin and lobster pizza in Los Angeles. Meeting with locals, chefs and patrons, he uncovers just what makes each post-midnight meal so delectable and unforgettable, as he races against the clock to try as much as he can -- all before the sun rises. In each 30-minute episode, Roe explores a different city, including: San Francisco, where he visits a nightclub serving up deep-fried candy and a spot in Chinatown that lets you fish for your own food; Austin, where he eats Korean-Mexican fusion fare from a food truck, handmade sausages stuffed with mythical meats, and brisket straight out of the smoker; Seattle, where he samples the famous New Mexican burger at Li'l Woody's, fare from the Biscuit Bitch, and the best cream cheese dog in the city from Monster Dog; and New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
