Plot Synopsis

FIGHTWORLD is a 40-minute docuseries that follows actor and martial artist Frank Grillo, as he explores and experiences the diverse fighting techniques found in cultures around the world. Each episode focuses on a different country, including:

Mexico: Actor Frank Grillo visits Mexico City, where he meets Julio Cesar Chavez, speaks with aspiring boxers and learns the one rule of Mexican boxing.

Thailand: Grillo sees firsthand why muay thai is known as "the art of eight limbs." Later, he visits a true titan of the sport.

Myanmar: Fighters from around the world travel to Myanmar for the World Lethwei Championship. Also, Grillo trains with an elite fighter.

Senegal: Grillo -- along with countless passionate fans -- gets caught up in the pageantry as two highly respected Senegalese wrestlers prepare to battle.

Israel: Grillo receives a lesson on Krav Maga, a unique style of hand-to-hand combat used by citizens and military forces alike.
