Plot Synopsis

Veteran Walter Sherman can locate anyone or anything -- tangible or intangible -- that nobody else can find, an abnormal ability he believes was caused by brain damage he suffered in Iraq. To help him on his missions, Leo acts as his legal advisor/bodyguard and owns The Ends of the Earth bar, where they have their headquarters. Walter and Leo occasionally use the hard-earned skills of Willa, who is an unruly teenager currently on probation and working at the bar under Leo's watch. Plus, Walter has an on-again, off-again relationship with Deputy U.S. Marshal Isabel Zambada, who must constantly balance their own career ambitions and matters of the heart. While working on the job, Walter finds "It's amazing how many times people ask me to find something and the real treasure is something else altogether." According to Executive Producer Hart Hanson, "The part played by Michael Clarke Duncan was originally written for an old, skinny white man, and instead we got Michael Clarke Duncan who is none of those things." FINDER was originally written as a back-door pilot and aired as the "Finder" episode of BONES on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 9pm ET.
