Plot Synopsis

FIRE IN THE HOLE is a one-hour reality series that follows Matt Barnett, the owner of an explosives company he recently started in Columbus, TX, as he and his crew complete detonation jobs around the world. Whether they're detonating a meth lab motorhome filled with toxic chemicals or exploding a live, 250-pound bomb from World War II, each job has it's own unique challenges, so Matt and his Texplo team have to figure out the right plan, tools, and explosives to use to make sure that in the end, they have a happy client and an amazing explosion -- without anyone getting hurt in the process. Matt, a master craftsman and explosives artist who can do just about anything with a bit of TNT and detonation cord, got bit by the explosives bug at age seven when his dad taught him how to make black powder for rockets. His team at Texplo Explosives includes: Rex Rotsko, the Unexploded Ordinance Technician; Jeremy Hanak, the Operations Manager; Beth Hagendorf, the Office Manager; and Zak Oliver, an intern and field assistant.
