Plot Synopsis

Reckless ship captain Mal Reynolds leads a band of ragtag criminals in the near future who pull jobs to make money and keep themselves one step ahead of the oppressive Alliance government. Firefly-class starship Serenity is full of colorful characters, including: a reverend; a prostitute; and a young girl with unknown superpowers. Serenity's crew has to avoid the law, but they have plenty of people on their side of the law just as eager to hunt them down.
