Plot Synopsis

THE FIRST 48: GANGLAND features updates on cases from THE FIRST 48, including all-new interviews with the detectives involved with the case. On Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 9-11pm ET/PT, A&E premiered back-to-back episodes with these stories:

"Soldier Down; Blood Vendetta" (May 28 at 9pm): In Atlanta, a young father is gunned down in cold blood at an abandoned car wash. As Detective Dwayne Sutton starts to track down the shooter, he learns the trail may lead to the Bloods gang. And when a Gulf War veteran is found shot to death in a park, Detective Michael Young has to delve deep into a dangerous underworld to find out why.

"Snake Eyes; No Way Out" (May 28 at 10pm): In Birmingham, AL, an innocent man is shot and killed in crossfire from a shoot out that erupted at a friendly dice game. Detective Jerry Williams and his team must first locate the shooters involved and then decide who and what to believe from the conflicting interviews. And in Harris County, TX, Dep. Jason Brown and the Homicide Unit investigate the murder of a 17-year-old student, gunned down in a flea market parking lot that also left his 14-year-old cousin wounded. The trail heats up when Brown finds another student that was involved in the shooting and in the gang confrontation that precipitated it.
