Plot Synopsis

FIRST TEAM: JUVENTUS is a six-episode docuseries that follows renowned soccer club Juventus on and off the pitch as they attempt to win a seventh straight Italian title and achieve Champions League glory during its 2017-2018 season. This series gives fans and supporters worldwide behind-the-scenes access to coach Massimiliano Allegri, the team, its former players like Alessandro Del Piero, and its current players, including Federico Bernardeschi, Giorgio Chiellini, Douglas Costa, Gonzalo Higuain, Claudio Marchisio, Miralem Pjanic, Daniele Rugani, and captain Gianluigi Buffon. The series opens with the club marking a new season with an intimate exhibition match for its fans, then begins its quest for Serie A and Champions League trophies. Juve face a test of their focus on the pitch, and midfielder Claudio Marchisio reflects on his lifelong bond with Juve. Plus, the club celebrates its 120th anniversary. Then, with Christmas just around the corner, striker Gonzalo Higuain squares off against his former team, and a new face impacts a must-win Champions League match.
