Plot Synopsis

Milo, Oscar and Bea are three neighbors and BFFs who navigate the choppy waters at Freshwater High, a school submerged in a giant fish tank in the center of Bud's Pet Shop. Together, these fish experience the typical challenges and triumphs of teenage life -- like dating, cliques, bad yearbook photos and football -- but they also endure the joys and hardships of being fish -- school field trips to "Hamsterwood," giant lobster attacks, and Wilford the cat that roams the store. Milo is an optimistic guy who loves his friends unconditionally. His friend Bea is an overly dramatic goldfish whose goal is to become the world's greatest actress, and his brother Oscar is a homebody who loves sci-fi and has a secret crush on Bea. Other characters include: Clamantha, clam who is optimistic about everything, including her chances of making the cheerleading squad, and is in love with Oscar; Jocktopus, an octopus who is a big simple-minded, eight-armed school bully who refers to himself in the third person; Shellsea, a jewel fish who is Bea's best girlfriend and is independent, focused and ready to speak her mind; Koi, a Koi fish who is a sweet teenage girl who makes grunting noises; Mr. Baldwin, the pregnant homeroom teacher/seahorse who's down in the dumps about his life; Principal Stickler, a sea urchin who is a paranoid authoritarian and screams orders to his assistant, Nurse Fishington; Coach Salmons, the enthusiastic Phys. Ed. teacher/salmon who is quick to offer motivation by yelling "Move your fins!"; Mr. Mussels, a caring drama teacher/mussel who truly wants to motivate and nurture his students but yells his positive messages like a drill sergeant. Disney aired a sneak peek of the series on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 10pm ET, immediately after CAMP ROCK 2: THE FINAL JAM.
