Plot Synopsis

Host Jimmy Carr welcomes two permanent team captains -- comedians D.L. Hughley and Katherine Ryan -- to tackle the world's woes, each with help from a rotating crew of funny guests and an actual expert. In the series opener, "Let's Fix Social Media," Michael Ian Black and Nikki Glaser join the panel to talk selfies, online addiction, oversharing and weird porn searches. Other guests include: Al Madrigal and Joel Kim Booster, who discuss immigration; Ron Funches and Fortune Feimster, who tackle the topic of robots replacing humans; Nicole Byer and Moshe Kasher, who talk about changing urban landscapes; Whitney Cummings and Al Madrigal, who tackle the surge in the number of senior citizens; Nikki Glaser and Nicole Byer, who riff about unequal compensation; Sasheer Zamata and Ron Funches, who tag in to save the world from threats of rising sea levels; Sarah Tiana and Clayton English, who shoot from the hip about ways to combat gun violence; Amanda Seales and Sara Schaefer, who pose solutions for the painkiller problem; and Howie Mandel and Aparna Nancherla, who go for broke on the issue of the wealth gap. On Friday, December 13, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the first season of THE FIX.
