Plot Synopsis

FIX MY MOM is a one-hour reality series that features five mother-daughter pairs who go on a rollercoaster journey to mend their broken bonds before the damage is irreparable and the relationship is destroyed. With the guidance of life coach Laura Baron, the ladies are put to the test through specifically designed exercises to get to the root of their issues and fix what they hold most dear. The mother-daughter pairs include: Amal, Ruba & Luna, whose issues stem from the fact that mother Amal plays favorites with older daughter Ruba, making younger daughter Luna feel like the black sheep of the family; Ashley & Brittany, who haven't formed a deep understanding of each other, because former pageant winner Brittany finds her appearance-obsessed mother is overly critical of her looks; Shun & Amber, who are extremely close, but with Shun often acting more like a friend than a mother; Tonja & Kami, who are way too close and currently live together -- even sleeping in the same bedroom and rarely getting space from each other; and Velvet & Ashley, who bicker incessantly with daughter Ashley constantly lecturing her mom Velvet on how to behave.
