In each one-hour episode of FLIPPING VIRGINS, property expert and host Egypt Sherrod helps house-flipping novices navigate the unexpected realities of purchasing, renovating and selling a home for profit -- but they have just 60 days until the first payment is due. In order to beat that deadline, Egypt's formula is 30 days to renovate, and 30 days to sell. Egypt accompanies the beginners on their search to find the ideal home, which is often the worst house on the block. She advises them to overlook an old home's cringe-worthy stains, smells and dirt to envision the property's potential. Then, she helps these house-flipping novices navigate the unexpected realities of purchasing, renovating and selling a home for profit. Season 2 of FLIPPING VIRGINS premiered on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 11am ET/PT on HGTV. In the season opener, "A Flip Full of Surprises," a couple made a major career change and are hoping to subsidize the family income with some serious flipping. They are nervous about plowing their life savings into a single venture and insist on seeing lower-priced properties, but realtor and flipping expert Egypt Sherrod warns that a humble price tag could come with costly surprises down the line. When the demolition ends and the dust settles, the bad news starts piling up from the crawl space to the roof.

Relying on Egypt's expertise, guidance and a whole lot of sweat equity, they work together to modernize the dilapidated home while preserving its classic craftsman character.
