Plot Synopsis

Hosted and produced by Rob Lowe, THE FLOOR is a one-hour gameshow that begins with 81 contestants on a massive 9x9 grid floor, with each contestant standing on the one square that represents their own field of trivia expertise. The winner of each timed head-to-head trivia battle takes control of their opponent's square, while the loser goes home. Only one player walks away with a $250,000 cash prize. In the series premiere, "Let the Duel Begin," one player's mind freezes spectacularly against the clock and an early front runner sweeps up other players territory.
