Plot Synopsis

Set in the Florida Panhandle along the beach that stretches all the way to Alabama, FLORIBAMA SHORE is a one-hour reality series that tells the story of eight young adults from the South who come to spend the summer in the hottest beach town on the Gulf Coast, Panama City Beach, to party it up and put the real world on hold for just a little bit longer. But each is armed with incredible life experiences and standing at a crossroads, whether it's ending a relationship, tasting independence for the first time, or trying to escape the past. This coming of age story captures the very real thrill and angst of being young and trying to figure out the future with a group of people you'll come to call family. The cast includes:

Jeremiah Buoni (22; Amelia Island, FL): Kortni and Nilsa break into their happy dance when Jeremiah walks through the door. But when he brings a new girl home, all hell breaks loose, igniting an all out battle between the guys and the girls. Smart, confident and opinionated, Jeremiah is here to tell you that home-schooled does not equal socially awkward.

Codi Butts (25; Westminster, SC): Codi is a true southern gentleman who is more than a little ready to leave his bartending job at "an old people's bar" back in South Carolina, for a wild summer in Panama City Beach. But with all that experience listening to other people's problems, Codi is quick to insert himself in the other roommates' conflicts. Both caretaker and pot stirrer, Codi is a straight up good old southern soul who, at the end of the day, has the power to bring the house together.

Kortni Gilson (21; Panama City Beach, FL): Kortni is a Panama City Beach local who can't wait to show her new roommates how to party in HER town. But the roommates are about to learn that people don't call her Krazy Kortni for nothing. She's never lived away from home, never had to take care of herself, and never had a job she didn't get fired from. Kortni is going to bring the party for sure...if she makes it past night one.

Aimee Hall (24; Perdido, AL): On and off with the same guy for 10 years, she finally had to draw the line when he got another girl pregnant. But nothing can dim the spark of this self-described Princess Goddess Mermaid. NOT afraid to say what's on her mind, she keeps the whole house in line with her down home wisdom mixed with a little potty mouth.

Kirk Medas (25; Atlanta, GA): Kirk is a Panama City Beach local by way of Atlanta, and with his wild beach hair and a smile that lights up a room, he's fully embracing the beach lifestyle. Kirk values family above all else, and this summer, on more than one occasion, he finds himself defending his new "family" in a bar brawl. He's particularly close to Gus, with whom he shares a similar past.

Nilsa Prowant (23; Panama City Beach, FL): Like Kortni, Nilsa is a PCB local and looking forward to experiencing life on "the other side" of the city for once -- in a house on the beach with seven other people ready to let loose and party hard. At 23, Nilsa has already been married. And divorced. She's anxious to sow some wild oats this summer, but quickly finds herself in the middle of a "love square" with three other roommates. Safe to say Nilsa is going to be at the center of whatever is blowing up in he house.

Candace Rice (24; Memphis, TN): Candace brings the southern belle to PCB with her big hair, perfectly applied make-up and Instagram-ready outfits. But growing up in Memphis, she saw more gun violence than she cares to remember, so for her, this summer is all about being care-free. Her quick wit and no-nonsense demeanor make her a voice of reason in the house, and she happily takes wild child Kortni under her wing.

Gus Smyrnios (22; Tallahassee, FL): Gus is a southern charmer who prides himself on being respectful to everyone, especially women. So it's particularly devastating to him when he gets caught up in the battle between the guys and the girls. Kicked out of his house when he was 17, Gus had to grow up fast and is ready to party it up this summer. But don't get him wrong. What Gus wants more than anything is to find the right woman and wife up. And soon.

Season 2 of FLORIBAMA SHORE premiered on Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10pm ET/PT on MTV, as original cast members Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gilson, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice and Gus Smyrnios returned for the 14-episode new season. In the season opener, "Psycho-Ass Beach," the roommates head to Panama City Beach for another summer at the shore; when Codi and Gus pull a prank on Kortni, a fight breaks out between all the roommates. Everyone rallies for their first night out in PCB, and Gus brings home a girl. FLORIBAMA SHORE returned with new episodes on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 9-11pm ET/PT, as MTV premiered the series' two-hour fall premiere. Logan continues to pop-up out-of-the-blue and menace the roommates. Candace contemplates her future with Gator, Kortni gets some shocking news about Logan, and Nilsa plays matchmaker for Aimee. The drama stirs up painful memories for Gus.

The third season of FLORIBAMA SHORE premiered on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 8-10pm ET/PT, as MTV debuted the two-part season premiere, immediately following a 10-hour marathon (10am-8pm) of encore episodes. This season, Mattie Lynn Breaux from CMT's PARTY DOWN SOUTH joins original castmates Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gilson, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice and Gus Smyrnios. As the roommates come together for their third summer -- this time in a new city, St. Petersburg -- relationships come to a crossroads and even the most solid friendships are put to the test. Gus is off the market, but his past with Nilsa threatens his resolve to stay faithful to his new girlfriend. Candace faces her feelings about Codi, and Aimee and Kortni have to navigate long-distance relationships. But the rockiest relationship this season is a busted bromance and the repercussions shake the entire house.

FLORIBAMA SHORE returned for its fourth season on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 9pm ET/PT on MTV. For the first time ever, everyone's favorite group of rowdy southerners will trade in the Florida sun for the mountains of Montana and the sunshine of Lake Havasu, Arizona. After an explosive summer in St. Pete last season, castmates Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice and Gus Smyrnios will reunite once again for their annual trip, but things will look different this year. With limited access to the outside world at their remote location, the group is forced to face the wounds of last summer head on. During uncertain times, the crew needs each other more than ever, but like all families, there's always something brewing under the surface and the bonds of friendship will be tested like never before. In the season opener, "Montanabama Shore," when their yearly beach vacation gets up-ended by COVID-19, the Floribama crew sets off to the snow-capped mountains of Montana. After 18 months apart, everyone is in a new place in their lives: love-interests, living arrangements and some surprises.

After a 3.5-month break. FLORIBAMA SHORE returned with new episodes on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 8pm ET/PT on MTV. In the mid-season premiere, "Welcome to the Peach House," Aimee and Codi's adventure begins before they've even left Perdido. Kirk and Nilsa bring the party and the puppy. Candace and Jeremiah worry about the potential for drama as they all anxiously await the arrival of Gus.
