Plot Synopsis

Using first-person interviews, realistic reenactments and animated sequences, FOOD ATTACK profiles people and their dangerous food encounters, including cases of food poisoning, food allergies and deadly cuisine. The 30-minute pilot episode highlighted three people: a young woman whose dinner date turned to disaster; a tech salesman who is plagued by a persistent illness; and a golfer who found a big surprise. Food Network aired the pilot of this series as a special on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at 9pm ET/PT.
