Plot Synopsis

48 HOURS TO BUY is a one-hour reality series that follows couples who have only two days to search for and buy a perfect home. Whether they're relocating unexpectedly for work, or compelled by a personal situation, their relocation is coming up and they need to find a house fast. In the series opener, "Monument, CO to Charlotte, NC," Mike and Amy need to move from Monument, Colorado to Charlotte, North Carolina to start a new job in two weeks. Amping up the pressure, they have just one weekend to find their dream house that meets all the needs of their blended families. At the top of their wish list is a big backyard and pool, but Amy's fear of bugs adds a wrinkle as the clock ticks down and tears flow. If they can't find what they want, they'll have to make the move with no idea where they're going to live.

Season 2 of 48 HOURS TO BUY debuted on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at Noon ET/PT on A&E. The series continues to feature couples who are in a housing pressure cooker -- their relocation is coming up and they need to find a house fast. In the season opener, "Winston-Salem, NC to Minneapolis, MN," a rapid-fire, cross-country house search gets underway for Travis and Shannon when Travis takes a new job that requires the whole family to move in a matter of weeks. Shannon rolls with this huge change, but both have non-negotiable requirements. They want plenty of space for their friends and family, Travis needs a garage that can fit a set of rolling toolboxes, and Shannon wants a primary bathroom with a private toilet. Given the tight deadline and large list of needs, their agent Kelly scrambles to find the perfect house.
