Plot Synopsis

Four brides-to-be agree to put their special day under scrutiny as each invites the three other brides to attend and critique her wedding. The bride with the best nuptials wins a luxury honeymoon. Season 4 features all kinds of unique wedding elements, including an Elvis impersonator, bull riding and "flash mob" receptions, Cinco De Mayo wedding with an all-female mariachi band, and a walk down a plastic red carpet. TLC aired a sneak peek of the series on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 10PM, and series premieres on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 10PM. FOUR WEDDINGS returned for its fourth season on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 9pm ET/PT, with two new episodes. Immediately following an all-day (11am-9pm ET/PT) marathon of encore episodes, FOUR WEDDINGS returned for its fifth season with back-to-back new episodes on Friday, August 15, 2014 at 9pm ET/PT on TLC. The 16-episode Season 5 runs back-to-back on Friday nights, with competitive brides from coast to coast. This year, for the first time ever, fans can participate in live Facebook polling during each episode, voting for their favorite wedding using custom hashtags; voting is live throughout the entire episode, and real-time results will be displayed on-air. In the night's first episode, which a TLC press release touted as the show's 100th, Kari's wedding starts with her 50-foot descent from the ceiling, while Briana floats into her ceremony on a canoe. Monica bartends and offers signature tattoos at her backyard soiree, while Karen's guests get horse and carriage rides at her farm nuptials. In the night's second new episode, Laura Ann takes pictures in the end zone at her football stadium nuptials, while Lauren dances to her groom's tunes at her whiskey distillery affair. Elizabeth's wood theme is evident in her cake, while Captain Jen's theme is shown in red, white and blue. An all-new season of FOUR WEDDINGS premiered on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 9pm ET/PT on TLC. In the series' new two-hour format, these blushing brides, who are all getting married around the same time, evaluate each other's weddings based on six categories: venue, food, dress, entertainment, originality and overall experience. The bride with the highest score will win an all-expenses-paid honeymoon for herself and her husband. In a brand-new twist, the featured brides are not strangers, rather they are close friends and/or family members - and the grooms are teaming up with them to help pull off their magical day. Fans will tag along with the brides as they plan and shop for every element of their weddings, including the dress, the cake, the decorations and more. From a countryside barn, to a winter wonderland extravaganza, to twists and turns never-before-seen on FOUR WEDDINGS, this season is full of hilarious, emotional and unforgettable moments that will captivate viewers through the last dance. FOUR WEDDINGS returned with new episodes on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 9-11pm ET/PT on TLC, continuing its two-hour format. In this new episode, "...And a Hurricane," Mirian's ceremony is a heartfelt affair with her father officiating while Kim's chosen a hand puppet to carry her wedding rings. Jen's throwing a five-hour cocktail party and Colleen's alcohol-free reception follows the couple's first ever kiss.
