Plot Synopsis

FREE REIN is a half-hour scripted series that centers on Zoe, a 15-year-old from Los Angeles, who spends the summer at her mom's childhood home at Bright Field Stables on an island off the coast of England, where she bonds with a mysterious horse named Raven who helps her overcome personal challenges. After arriving at their grandfather's home, Zoe scours the area when her sister Rosie goes missing, meeting some locals and having a scary encounter. Then, when Mia insists on mounting Raven for a photo shoot, Zoe must calm the wild horse so he can be saddled. Rosie snoops in her mom's childhood diary. Netflix released the 10-episode first season of FREE REIN on Thursday, June 22, 2017 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT.

On Friday, July 6, 2018 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, Netflix released the entire 10-episode second season of FREE REIN. As Bright Fields preps for Junior Nationals, Zoe and her friends must face losing a rider to a rival team, a shady new trainer and a destructive fire. Season 2 opens with rival riding school Holloway stealing Bright Fields' recently won County Cup, so Zoe and Pin must steal it back before Mia's press interview begins. Then, the gang sees Pin in a new light. On his last day, Marcus confesses a guilty secret to Rosie. Becky says a heartfelt goodbye to her longtime crush. But things get out of hand during a jousting match at the annual Maid of the Island tournament when Zoe and Mia face off against Gaby from Holloway.
Season 3 of FREE REIN premiered on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at 3:01am ET/12:01am PT, as Netflix released the entire 10-episode season. Wild horses couldn't drag Zoe away from this summer's "UK Under 18s" team tryouts, even when the competition pits friend against friend. The season opens with the arrival of Zoe's mischievous cousin, who complicates the Bright Fields gang's attempts to impress the new mayor. Pin leads the charge to find a skittish wild horse before the mayor does. The first Breakfast Club meeting leaves some riders champing at the bit. Zoe and Gaby try to figure out what's wrong with Ariel. Marcus faces obstacles ahead of his trainer exam, and Mia undermines Susie.
