Plot Synopsis

Former pro-baseball player Matt Duff and world-class shooter Jessie Abbate travel coast to coast to explore Friends of NRA, the multi-million dollar, grassroots fundraising movement that makes up the heart of the shooting world. Friends of NRA provides millions in grants for youth shooting teams, building shooting ranges, or implementing educational and training firearm programs in their hometowns. But Matt and Jessie don't just attend fund-raising banquets; they cover every aspect of the shooting world inside and outside of Friends of NRA. They spend time at the Whittington Center with the best and brightest youth of today, showcasing the world's best at the Bianchi Cup, or going behind the scenes on an exclusive Black Bear Hunt in Alaska. Outdoor aired a sneak peek of the series on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 4pm, and the program had its official series premiere on Sunday, January 2, 2011 at 10:30pm.
