Plot Synopsis

FRIENDS OF THE PEOPLE is a half-hour, sketch-comedy series that uses a combination of scripted sketches, man-on-the-street segments and much more. Pilot sketches included a previously-untold story from television history about Urkel and the adventures of celebrity mash-up character Tracy Morgan Freeman. Plus, in "Squabblin & Quarrelin," the Lucas Brothers discuss hot topics including delicious cookies and drone strikes.

After a seven-month break, FRIENDS OF THE PEOPLE returned with new episodes on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 10:30pm ET/PT. In the summer premiere, "Black Mad Men," with sketches that include a million dollar game show heist, a date turned barely legal and a superhero with the power of song. Plus, Brian McKnight guest stars and the cast explores the stories of Black Mad Men.
